I Specialize in Helping You Feel Better
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, #MA60058291. I have been practicing since 2008. These are the areas that I have studied extensively:
- CranioSacral Therapy / Visceral Motility
- Therapeutic Massage
- Distance Healing Sessions
I've included descriptions of these therapies below, along with short snippets of what I love about each.
You may schedule online to find an appointment time that works for You. I'm happy to discuss which services will be the best fit for you and your level of health. Text or call 360.536.8092.
CranioSacral Therapy / Visceral Motility
This is my favorite way of working. When I was in my mid twenties I saw a therapist that used CranioSacral Therapy, and did intraoral work that blew my mind. She worked inside my mouth, and I felt like she had molded my face as if it were soft clay. I had to stare into the mirror to see if my cheek bones had widened--or if I looked any different. Years later, when I became a Massage Therapist I knew I had to pursue this way of helping with people.
As a CranioSacral Therapist, I listen to and follow what your body presents. This is a gentle touch therapy, and clients lay face up on the table. I use my hands lightly to identify and release restrictions that affect the spinal column and central nervous system. The work is deeply relaxing and restorative. It has an amazing ability to peal traumas off the body, without re-traumatizing the recipient.
We each have an Inner Wisdom that knows exactly what we need, and how to unwind. A CranioSacral Session helps the body re-calibrate, I think of it as de-fragging the hard-drive.
I have studied extensively with Upledger & Barral Institutes:
- CranioSacral Therapy I
- Cranio Sacral Therapy II
- Somato Emotional Release I
- Somato Emotional Release II
- Visceral Manipulation I (Abdomen)
- Visceral Manipulation II (Thorax)
- Visceral Manipulation III (Pelvis)
- Visceral Manipulation IV (
- Listening Techniques I
- CranioSacral Therapy and the Immune Response
- CranioSacral Therapy and the Immune Response (Abdomen)
- CranioSacral Therapy and the Immune Response (Heart/Lungs)
- CranioSacral Therapy for Pediatrics I
Even though I travelled through both the CST, and VM curriculums, I think of myself as a CranioSacral Therapist, that does Visceral Manipulation--to bring the organs back into their natural and dynamic range of motion. The visceral education has made me a better therapist; I am able to be more precise with my detailed knowledge of human anatomy.
Therapeutic Massage is a wonder of its own. Our bodies love to be touched, our muscles like to be rubbed, and our brains like to decompress. Cue the soft music, and skilled manual therapist, and I've got your back.
I offer a Signature Wellness Massage. This incorporates Hot Stones, Heated Bamboo, and hot steamy towels as accents to your massage. The heat penetrates for deeper work. The depth and pressure are determined by your level of health, and what your tissue needs. I meet your tissue where it is at, and provide deeper work, and Trigger Point Therapy where you need it. After our session you should feel deeply restored, and rejuvenated.
I also offer:
- Massage for People with Cancer
- Pregnancy / Prenatal Massage
- End of Life Care
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes. Honestly, once you try a 90, you'll never go back.
If you are looking for an "all deep tissue, it has to hurt, beat me up" massage--I am not your therapist.
After loosing my mother and one of my best friends to cancer, I dug into learning the essentials for working with people with cancer, and offering comfort-oriented compassionate touch. I have worked with all stages, and different types of cancers, people in treatment, end of life, and remission. When working with people with cancer, the key is to place no additional demands on the body.
I have had the honor of studying with Gail MacDonald, author of Medicine Hands, and Massage for People with Cancer. I have taken these courses:
- Massage for People with Cancer
- Intensive at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU)
- Hematology / Oncology & Radiation Clinics
- End of Life Ritual and Celebrations (with Meg)
- Dying with Dignity, Healing Form the Core, Nov 2020
Distance Healing Sessions
Distance Healing Sessions are based on Somatic Experiencing.
Somatic experiencing is a form of alternative therapy aimed at relieving the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental and physical trauma-related health problems by focusing on the client's perceived body sensations (or somatic experiences). Wikipedia, 2020
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A DISTANCE SESSION
A session is 60 min. It is usually phone call, but we can also do a video conference if you prefer. The client sits or lays in a comfortable position. We tune in, until it feels like we are present in the room together. I like to start with a guided body scan, so that we get fully embodied, and grounded. During the session, I act like a satellite dish, receiving and transmuting energy. Through the body scan you will pick up on areas of discomfort, tension, or places that seem disconnected in your body. We follow your body's pace and you determine where we investigate.
I will ask you, "What are you noticing?" We are looking to stay present to the primary sensations: Hot, Cold, Burning, Throbbing, Tingly. I will ask if there is a color or density associated in that area.
We are not looking to engage the story aspect of an old injury or trauma, We bring it back to the sensations. Some times there will be a message that this area has to inform you, or a color or something that it needs.
We stay connected and present, witnessing what is happening in your physical body. Some people see images, or hear words. Some feel like the session is a waking dream into their Inner landscape.
These sessions are deeply transformative, and many clients feel as if we've had an in-person, hands-on session. This is really beautiful work. I love that Wikipedia describes it as being beneficial for PTSD.
This is now my second favorite way of providing care. Of course, in the COVID-Pandemic, it is an excellent alternative for people who are Immune-compromised, and would prefer to reduce in-person exposures.

BEMER Therapy is a FDA Registered Class 2 Medical Device from Europe. This Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) device stimulates smooth muscle-- specifically vasomotion in the capillaries which enhances blood flow.
When blood flow is enhanced ALL of the cells and tissues are supported. More oxygen and nutrients into the cells, and more waste products removed = better function in every system. Better blood flow enhances the body's natural healing mechanisms, and helps the body get back to homeostasis.
I've had my own BEMER Pro Set since June of 2019. I am sleeping better, have more energy, my mood is better, and I actually have WAY LESS plaque on my teeth!
I am an Independent BEMER Distributor, visit PerfusedWellness.com my online store to purchase a BEMER for your home, office, or horse.
MELT METHOD ~ INSTRUCTOR, 2015
Learn self-care techniques to help you get out of pain and stay out of pain.
The MELT Method is a way of working with soft balls, and a soft-body roller that hydrates connective tissue on the inside. As a MELT Instructor I show people how to use the tools, follow and develop MELT Maps, and how to do these easy self-care techniques.
I love sharing these amazing techniques. On the first day of class I cried all the way back to my hotel room. This should be taught in 8th Grade Health class; I wanted to shout from the rooftops how the MELT Method could help people feel better--NOW!
MELT also helps you have better body awareness, and better proprioception and balance. You can lie on the floor, do an assessment, spend a few minutes doing a move, re-assess and you'll feel the changes for yourself--immediately. It is that good.
During the Pandemic I am offering individual 1:1 private MELT instruction. I also have DVD's. MELT Kits, and Soft Body Rollers that you can purchase. I also highly recommend MELT on Demand (an online monthly subscription). You get all the MELT instruction you can dive into, with 24/7 access--delivered fresh to your living room. I use it every day!
Feel free to contact me IF you have questions.
HOW I FOUND MELT
As a Manual Therapist, and inner scientist, I became obsessed with the human body, and helping people feel better. I met a MELT Instructor at a Psoas workshop with Liz Koch, she had a trunk full of some of the most amazing Soft Body Rollers I had ever seen. I bought two on the spot. Liz shared a story about Sue Hitzmann and the MELT Method. She said there were often hundreds of students at a class, from around the globe. Over course of a few years I kept hearing about MELT.
Not to get all woo woo on you here, but when I hear something over and over, I think of it as a whisper from the Universe. I started researching The MELT Method. In 2015, I flew to New York to become a Hand and Foot Instructor. New York is where my parents had met, and where I was conceived. At the time I decided to re-birth myself as a fitness instructor--but, fitness isn't really the right term...
I became a Self-Care Instructor of the MELT Method.
MELT Courses I have taken:
- Hand and Foot Instructor (2015)
- MELT Level 1 Instructor (2016)
