This is an amazing book. It is like a text book, its got so much good stuff in it. This book isn’t just about changing your diet, it is about changing your lifestyle. Mark Sisson lays out a blueprint for living that includes Ten Primal Blueprint Laws:
Eat Plants and Animals
Avoid Poisonous Things
Lift Heavy Things
Sprint Once in a While
Get Plenty of Sleep
Get Plenty of Sunlight
Avoid Stupid Mistakes
Use Your Brain
Mark encourages gaining the knowledge and putting it to use in your life in a way that fits for you. His approach feels doable for many that are making diet and lifestyle changes. I think his 80:20 rule helps me quell my internal critic and succeed in incorporating my primal choices at least 80% of the time, with 20% accounting for real life sneaking in with chocolate.
Mark also include plenty of science in this comprehensive guide. He encourages eating whole, nutrient dense foods from quality sources. There are great success stories with photos from folks who have chosen the Primal Blueprint as a lifestyle, in the back of the book. For those seeking to change their lives and shift to a Primal lifestyle, this book a great addition to your library!
