Day 34 – Today I am grateful for a walk with my sweetie.

365 Days of Wonderful – Day 34

Today I am grateful for my 3 mile walk at Green Lake with my sweetie! Yeah exercise! Most days I hit my 10k steps–I love my fit bit. It is like my accountability buddy. I’ll admit, I live alone, and I am an only child, and a bit of a nerdy girl–but I love that the fit bit app has an inner statistician, and I get occasional posts that I’ve walked the length of Italy, or the height of a sky scraper. Today, I was in Seattle, and I decided to walk around Green Lake!


It started to snow just as we were leaving. And it was snowing in Port Orchard as we got home. It’s pretty exciting to see the white flurries come out of the sky. The forecast calls for snow through the night… but the roads are bare and wet, it seems like it is melting as fast as it is falling. We shall see what tomorrow holds.

I am grateful for my delightful little dog. She is sweet as the dickens. It only takes a few run ins with more aggressive dogs, for me to know what a love bug she is. I’m pretty sure she did not miss stepping in one single mud puddle, on the entire 3 mile trek! LOL. Thanks Bonnie, for her lovely jacket. She stayed snug, and her belly stayed dry. She wags her tail with every step. It is a nice reminder to be happy. It’s a beautiful day! Love One Another!
