365 Days of Wonderful – Day 31
It’s hard to believe that January is just minutes from being gone. I am grateful for the magic hearts that I find on my path.
Yesterday, when I went to Fred Meyer’s there was a woman taking photos of the flowers… I smiled and said hello. She told me that she had made a heart, but that is was easier to see, if she took a photo of it. I smiled, and wandered past. Tonight, I stopped and shared the story with my neighbor, who had accompanied me to the store. So I took a photo of the primroses… and voila! A Heart!
How completely lovely. I’m not sure if she worked there, or if she was just a customer, arranging flowers into the shape of a heart–for those that might notice. How completely divine. I like to think she was an angel, leaving a random sign, for whomever might need it. I am grateful that I remembered her words, and heeded the call to capture it in a photograph. Because–it is there… a Heart!
On my morning walk I spotted a heart in the lichen and moss, on a curb by the courthouse. Like a four leaf clover, my eyes spotted the shape of a heart… and again, I like to think that the lichen painting angels left this little remnant, for whomever might need it. Maybe it’s you?
I am grateful for the hearts planted by the angels in our lives. I pass a few onto you. Blessings!
