About the event

Remember, Honor, and Release.  Use ritual and creative-making as a positive outlet of expression.  Smudging with the smoke of herbs, or oils have been used in spiritual practices for centuries.  Smoke cleanses and purifies.

We'll be making our own smudge sticks.  Fresh herbs and flowers are BEST.  I recommend that you forage on the morning of class, gather herbs, and flower petals.  Wander you neighborhood see what calls you.  Bring stuff to share.

I'll provide Rosemary, Lavendar, Thyme Sprigs, and Rose Petals. I will try and harves purple sage (neighbors willing).  Other Ideas: Other Herbs You Love, Cedar Sprigs,  Sage--a small fresh package from the grocery store is perfect for (1) small smudge stick.

Learn to Make and Dry Smudge Sticks, and Lavendar Sachets.  You'll take several home.  These make great gifts!  We'll discuss the use of ritual for honoring the past and releasing.
